Once Shane is in the hospital Lydia discovers an entire wing of shifters being placed in a coma and she quickly finds that Shane is next on the list. With the help of her brother Marco and the rest of the guys at Portland PD she tries to change Shane's fate before it is too late.

It's been weeks and he hasn't healed. He thinks thecHospital did something to him that interferes with his advanced healing capabilities. Natasha wants Lydia to get her brother, Marco(a cop with the Portland Police), to look into it. Before Lydia can say anything to Marco, he and fellow cop, Shane, are involved in a case about shifters being found dead, drained of their blood, and all the bodies are linked to the hospital. Shane and Lydia go undercover as a married couple. Shane goes to the hospital for treatment, as a way to check out what is happening there. They need to find out who is harming shifters and put a stop to it. This was a quick read. I loved Lydia. She is a strong tough bear shifter, but being a girl, her dad and brother always over protected her, and even now when she is an adult. Shane sees her as strong, and very beautiful. He fell hard and fast for her.Product details

Love this series
Liked the story overall, but I did have a issue with the author's plot on this one. It seems to me that when this is not the first story in the series, that the original characters should be aware of the names of the nemesis organizations that are at work against. This company was introduced in book one so way didn't the know that there was a definite problem with them as an organization working against the shifter community.
If that is the case then why the elaborate undercover exercise. To me that should not have even been an option. They were and had been working to experiment and do things to the shifter from the get go.
Other than the plot issue, I thought the interaction between Shane and Lydia was good and I loved them together as a couple. Over all I think you will like this one especially if you haven't read the others the laid the background I am referring to.
I love this story. This series is really good.
I loved it fast pace, suspense and love a very sharp combo. I'm looking for the next one read. Def)
This proved to be an interesting read and well worth the purchase. Each book has it's own story and there is a bigger story that runs through the background.

Tarra and Meredith take us to Portland. Where a special crew of bear shifters protect all, even those that don't like shifters. That is until they step across the line and do harm.
Loving the Portland Undercover Bears. Can't wait to read more about them.
Over-all, I enjoyed this series. It was good to read about some other Bear detectives and about the sinister organization that is trying to eradicate the Shifter Community. I was left hanging however, because the series kept alluding to another detective that was on an undercover assignment. I think that because his story was not told; left this series incomplete. Since the sinister organization has not been destroyed either; maybe there will be more stories to tie up all of the loose ends. I can only hope so and look forward to more stories about our detectives in the near future.
